Can anyone please offer any advice on how to get accepted into UCB considering my condition?

I heard someone got into ucla (i know you wanna go to Berkeley but im just gonna tell u this story anyway) with 20 Ws. However I do not recommend you getting any more Ws cuz i know UCs dont wanna see more than 3 at most. BUT they honestly dont care as long as you have good grades so retake the class u got a D and F in and just get straight As from now on. good luck.

No. I heard directly from a Berkeley’s representative that UC’s do not care about W’s. So don’t worry!

I would be more worried about the fact you have been at your CC for a year and half and have only earned 14 credits, have made no progress toward completing your Math and English requirements and are wasting your time taking meaningless courses like yoga, electric music and pop culture. At this rate it will be the end of the decade before you can apply to transfer to a UC.

lemaitre1 your absolutely RIGHT ! dude you should take summer schools and start focusing on your studies!! first get to a point where you have finished at least 30 unites (transferable) and then think about transferring !

Well, if the D and F grade are in transferable classes you need to obviously retake them asap. Then you pretty much need to get all As from here on out. The Ws are not your problem…its the fact that you have yet to really excel in a semester, and Berkeley only takes people who consistently excel and have gpas around 3.8ish

until you start taking school seriously, i don’t see you getting into berkeley.
