Do UC's consider work experience?

Hi,

I’m currently a junior who has been working since summer of freshman year at Kumon, a learning center, and I plan to work there senior year as well. I was wondering if work experience is considered by UC schools because this is one of my only extracurriculars and takes up a large portion of my time, and does it look okay on the application? If it matter, I come from a upper middle class family.

Yes. It’s better than some other activities that don’t have any substance.

Yes, the UC application has a section for work experience, where you can list the weekly hours worked and your job description.
