<p>Do the UC schools give interview opportunities for undergraduate admissions?</p>
<p>I am an international student applying to UCLA and UCSD.</p>
<p>General admission interviews are not offered. Bear in mind that the two schools you list each receive 45,000 - 55,000 applications/year. It would not be possible to offer interviews to all applicants.</p>
<p>Later in the process, students being considered for Regent’s scholarships may be contacted for interviews. Students applying to certain music majors may be contacted for auditions. At UCLA some students are invited to interview for alumni scholarships, which require an additional application (I do not believe International applicants are eligible for alumni scholarships, but I could be wrong).</p>
