Do UCs look at your high school grades when transfering from a cc to a UC? I receantly sent an application in for all the UCs but my senior year grades aren't that good. If they turn me down they may have a record of my grades. Will this come back to bite me when I apply two years into a cc? Or even if I didn't send in applications with grades, do they check your high school grades then?

yeah i was wondering that too. i didn't think UC looked at your h.s. grades, but i was wondering also if they looked at your SAT's. mine h.s. grades were good, but my SAT's weren't and i plan on transfering next year.

I'm pretty sure the UCs don't consider h.s grads as an admission factor, but I'd imagine they would look at them b/c what about if your using two years of foreign language from high school to fulfill the igetc?

No, they don't consider your high school grades. For the foreign language thing, it must be waived by your CC when you present to them(the CC) your high school foreign language grades.
