Do UC's really consider...

Non-transferable courses? When I applied, they made me list every college class I've taken, regardless of whether it's transferable. But will it be mostly transferable courses that impact their decision?

I ask because a) I spent a year at a theatre conservatory, and it was fun but none of those classes mean anything to a UC. I still included my grades, obviously, but I wonder how much of a difference it would make.
and b) Because I took a remedial, non-transferable math class just as a refresher in the fall semester, by some fluke missed the midterm, and ended up with a D.

I still had a 3.7 GPA by the end, and I reported everything and explained the D in the "comments" section, but I'm wondering if that one class is going to keep me barred from the UC's. Especially because it's not even transferable.

If it is remedial and you took a higher level math class that actually counts towards your major, I don’t think it will matter so much

Cool… thanks. :-)
