I have a 4.2 GPA and a 32 ACT, a 770 on Spanish SAT, and 760 on Math II Sat, but a TON of extracurriculars, and a very strong personal essay. My extracurriculars and personal essay all have to do with languages, and why I want to study languages in college. If your GPA isn’t super high, can you still compensate with really strong extracurriculars?
You’re GPA already IS super high, so I dont see what you are worried about. Yes the UC’s value extracurriculars and the personal essays because they use holistic admissions. You seem to be a great candidate for admission (especially if you are in-state).
