Do universities consider our winter and spring quarter grades before transferring?

I know most universities give their decisions for the transfer admission around March-June. My question is, do they consider our grades in winter & spring quarter before transferring? I am pretty sure the winter grades are going to come out around late march, If not, then I am going to take 4 courses for winter and I won’t care about my grades as long as I pass, because the GPA going to be set to 0 again, if you’re transfer from community colleges. Anyone knows?

Admission offers are typically conditional on completing previously reported in-progress courses with sufficiently high grades/GPA. Some universities specify explicit grade/GPA thresholds, while others state that your performance in those courses must be consistent with your previous performance.

If your previous GPA was 3.5, the university will not be happy to see a 2.3 in your remaining courses.
