I’m not sure whether someone else has already started a similar thread but I was just wondering if and when we’ll get our t-shirts. I have a lot of brandishing to do.

If you want to, you can purchase them through J. Hastings online, and they will ship them to you. Amherst doesn't have a bookstore/gift store per se, but uses this store right near campus. Last year, I ordered my D a couple t-shirts (in idfferent styles) and ordered an Amherst Mom t-shirt for myself.

I know a guy here who got a "Yale 2010" t-shirt. It was so cool, and he proudly wore it around. I think that was free, though.

Jrock, I was hoping that Amherst's was free to but from what ejr1 said, it obviously isn't. But it would really be cool to follow in the footsteps of our yalie. What do you think?

i was really disappointed when i visited the store...they didnt have a good selection and i kept picking something up, all "hey, this is cute" and then realized it was for umass amherst...why do they have to share a store???

UMass Amherst is nice...

Thanks for the link, suloshfets.

You'll have the opportunity to get a free shirt at the frosh event in the campus center the 1st or 2nd night of Orientation. I recommend you go (not only for the free shirt) because it's a great chance to meet your classmates and get out of your room during orientation.

Do you mean the orientation that starts around August 28th? They said we have to be up there at that time to settle in.

There is only the one frosh orientation.

Oh, okay. Thanks.
