<p>yes. the rooms have a light switch that turn on/off two lights, each of which are located on each side of the room above a mirror to the side of the closets. there isn't any other light in the room, so you'll need a lamp/whatever other light you want to have. i personally had two - one for my desk and one for the dresser, but a lot of other people had only one.</p>
<p>yeeeeah. i find it especially useful when the roommate is sleeping and you still want to be on your laptop doing...whatever</p>
<p>yes...because those two lights that are provided aren't bright enough anyway</p>
