<p>I took the ACT twice before taking the SAT once. Got 28 and 29, respectively. I considered that enough prep for the SAT, because while the SAT English was harder, the ACT math was harder.</p>
<p>I took the SAT cold (besides having taken the PSAT twice), planning to see where I stood and prepare if necessary. I ended up only losing points on the essay, yielding a score of 2390… I’m happy with that, but I kind of wish I had taken a glance over essay strategies, 'cause if I had only known the formula, I would have gotten a 10+… and I was so close…! ><</p>
