Do you apply directly to a major at U of A?

I know that at UT Austin (our home state) you have to apply to a specific major, and acceptance varies by competitiveness of those majors. Is this also the case at U of A, or do you simply apply to the school in general? Thanks!

My understanding is that you apply to a specific major, but one of the majors is Exploratory Studies for students who are undecided. https://clas.arizona.edu/undecided/exploratory-studies

I’m sure some majors are more competitive than others, but the overall acceptance rate is 75-80% so I don’t think any of them are too competitive.
