<p>i agree. i think that going to a community college is probably one of the most respectable ways to transfer to a better school and play the game as you like to call it. but in all honesty, people who work hard at a top university to move up and want and should get recognition for it.</p>
<p>i never said there was anything wrong with cc's i just stated that it was ridiculous to compare the AVERAGE community college work to that of the AVERAGE engineering or national university</p>
<p>and as for who defines what valid learning looks like--it's everyone--you even--by deciding that you want to transfer to a more elite school (by playing the game). actual learning doesn't necessarily take place in school; everyone knows that. they are simply looking for your ability to adapt and desire to learn.</p>
