^I only have my permit, but I would consider myself to be a slow driver. The first time I drove, I got honked at three times:( I don’t go that slow though, usually I go around the speed limit, but I live in California so we have that “go with the flow” rule.

I always go the posted speed limit. I figure that the government has some idea of what speed I should be going. Additionally, I don’t have $200 to blow on a speeding ticket and keep me from getting my after 9’s license.

Well, they do a decent job around here with decent speed limits. Oh, but “advisory speeds” can kiss my you-know-what. We have a turn here that has an advisory speed of 15 on to a 55 mph road. I’m like, if I go 15 someone’s going to rear-end me. I do have to admit that when I first started driving at one point I made a right turn at an intersection at 45 mph. Nothing happened though =)

And my dad drives close to 10-20 mph over until he approaches a police car. He has some device that points out where the police have their laser guns. It’s still legal in MN :)

I drive 5 over the speed limit, sometimes 10, as a general rule. On the highway though, I go 10-15 over to keep up with the flow of traffic.

I got pulled over for going 70 in a 50. Only got a seatbelt ticket though. I had my seatbelt on, but it costs less money than a speeding ticket, and I guess the cop felt nice.

I go 5 over at most. There have been times where I’ve gone 10-15 over to pass someone who is driving slower than me, but whom I will not be able to pass before I get to the two-lane.

(When I’m driving home, the highway merges from a four-lane into a two-lane.)

On the highway I usually go around 75-80 mph if my parents aren’t with me. If they are, I usually go around 60-65 mph. On the backroads, I usually just follow the speed limit since most of the time the traffic is moving pretty slow. Also, they’re a lot of cops on the backroads, and since my car stands out like a sore thumb, I don’t want to get noticed.
