sorry mr. heller. no can say.

ok. That's totally cool. Can you help me with something though...because, I am drowning myself in disappointment. How much much can one low SATII Writing score hurt an ED app? Say that I have pretty ok verbal (compared to most CC'ers...I am...perfectly average), and a decent AP English score, and English is my second language. I really appreciate the help. Btw, Heller rules...:)

what about the essay?
actually my answer is that you're a whole package and most likely one thing will not hold you back. either you're right or not. and right now, none of that is up to you, so breathe deep. relax. enjoy. senior year will be over soon. this life you know now will be vastly different sooner than you know. enjoy

My essays were awesome...when I say awesome, I mean, I've read alot about the process, and have read a lot of "great" college essays, and I dare say, my essays are still awesome. Everyone who has read it, which includes my English teachers, say the voice is perfect, and I really present me...the person. I am proud of my application essays. :) Might that be a redeeming factor in relations to the low writing score?

a great essay is ... well it's a great thing.
but honestly, admissions, like life, is often shrouded in mystery.
see the rest of my post above.
one last note about your essay: finding 'voice' is the most crucial aspect of a killer essay. so if that's what you're getting for feedback, it sounds like you did an excellent job. keep writing -- for yourself. don't lose that talent/skill.
