Do you fear death?

I've seen many people respond "It's not death that I fear, but what I fear is how death comes." I agree that I care more about how it comes, but so many people respond with this. I'm sure many of those people are lying because, for sure, many people are scared of death, especially when younger.

Do you fear death

DO you like the sound of an afterlife? Do you believe in an afterlife? Do you think an eternal afterlife would be boring?

What would you like to accomplish before you die?

What is the worst way you think you could die?

Do you fear becoming bald.

To be honest, I do. There are many things I would like to accomplish before dieing. However, It will come. I won't fear it at 60. Then, I will have been through college, explored the world, and also hopefully changed the world (for good or for bad lol).

The main thing I fear is how it will come.

Also, If heaven is real you get eternal life. Do you think eternal life would be boring?
I think after the first hundred years it sure would be. I'm "meh" on this issue. I'm not really religious, yet I do have faith, sort-of.

I hope I don't become bald, by the way.

Death fears me

no

sounds peaceful. no i do not. it would indeed.

become successful

torture

no

OP NUMBER FAIL

I fear the idea of my life being meaningless, although not necessarily death itself.

I don’t believe in anything after.

Publish a book.

Drown.

No.

I agree with smilemyonly. Learn your numbers.

“I fear the idea of my life being meaningless, although not necessarily death itself.”

I think that’s a good way of putting what I feel. =P

I don’t fear of death yet (I think that will change once I have children in the future). For now, it’s more like I fear of losing people I love or admire - that by far is the hardest part for me to internalize.

Eh:/ I hate thinking about death in general. I guess now more than ever in the past few days, because I found a Jeff Buckley CD lying around my house. It makes me super depressed (not his music, but the idea of him being gone and everything) I start choking up when I listen to his music now. Same with MJ/Kurt Cobain.

Nope, but I fear dying in some lame way like in my sleep or getting a disease. I’m not in any way disrespecting or hating on anyone who has died this way. I just want to go out with a bang.

1)Yes
2)Yes, yes, no(How can you find eternal life and happiness boring? (personal opinion:))
3)I would like to attribute to the world in a positive way. If I could utilize all of my opportunities and help those less fortunate, I’d feel content with myself.
4)As far as the method, I’m not sure:/
5)No(If one of my friends had cancer, (which I hope doesn’t happen:/), I’d be willing to shave my head now:) )

Nope. I just don’t want to die for no reason. That would be annoying.

I certainly don’t want to die, but I really don’t think about it much

Yes, no, no

Travel the world, positively change the world in a significant way

How Winston from 1984 died (Not the bullet, the brainwashing part)

Don’t want to be bald, but if it happens it happens

It depends on how i die

yes yes no

to make a difference in the world or simply people’s lives.

torture

err yes. i mean females shouldn’t go bald right? lol

Do I fear it today, on a daily basis? No. If I were told that I were to die young, before my time, then yes I would fear it. But I don’t fear dying of old age as I’m supposed to anyway

No, no, no. I feel like 80 some years is a long time. And once we get up to that age we will feel like we’re ready to die and the thought of an afterlife would be just too much. Like it’s just time to move on.

To know that I have changed somebody’s life

Dying before I’m supposed to die, doesn’t matter the method

Hey if it happens, it happens.

Not really. Of course, I don’t want to die, but it happens to everyone.

No

I don’t have any specific goals like that. Whatever happens, happens.

It doesn’t matter. Sure, torture and the like would be more painful but when you’re dead, it really doesn’t matter how you died.

Not really.

1) Yes
2) Yes, no, no
3) Be successful
4) A combination of torture, Alzheimer’s and PTSD from watching my family die
5) Hell yes. I’ve seen the effects on my dad. Not pretty at all.

No. I probably used to, but I guess I fear more being in pain than dying. I mean, living would seem to be the harder option.

It depends on what after life we’re talking about. I do like the sound of heaven. I believe in heaven, and in an afterlife in general. And I suppose if there were an afterlife it wouldn’t be boring, or why have it? Hell would be boring, though. I imagine it would be terribly boring.

I would like to travel most of the world and ski in a few choice places and write a book or two that people like. And love. Maybe.

Either old and alone and miserable, or through some form of torture. Car accidents look pretty bad, too.

I have a lot of hair and baldness doesn’t run in the family, so no.

No I don’t fear death. Just the pain that may lead to death.

Yes I like the sound of an afterlife. Sort of believe in it. And I doubt it would be boring. If it’s anything like the regular life it would be sweet.

I’m sort of obsessed with becoming well known. I want people to know who I am in 200 years.

No, I do not fear becoming bald. Can’t be that bad. As long as I last to at least 40 or so.

Actually I have this weird reoccurring nightmare in which I am tortured. Drowning would suck as well.

I would hate to die in my sleep.

Don’t fear the reaper mayne

I want to be immortal and take over the world, using gene therapy to cure baldness, so all these questions will die.

No. I think I will when I’m old though.

Heaven as Christianity describes it sounds boring, but I suppose if there was an afterlife with conflict it could be interesting.

Meaningful contribution to science.

Alzheimer’s.

No, my father has not even started balding.
