there's one guy at my school who is pretty good at academics. And he likes to pretend he's a genius by saying all the time "i didn't even study". And everyone is like "All hail Paul". It's so irritating.

And there's another girl at my school who asks EVERYONE what they got, and doesn't tell anyone else her scores. She says she will and then she doesn't. And when you find out, sometimes it's pretty good, sometimes it's lame. And she likes to copy a lot from Paul. And she never does her homework. But she will probably become val because her sister was val a couple of years ago the SAME year that Paul's sis was val. And Paul and this girl are both in the same grade. The thing is, this girl isn't that smart as Paul, yet she pretends to be. So basically .... she doesn't deserve valedictorian. But she will get it because she is manipulative and cheats and steals answers.

I have no idea how my SAT score and Paul's and this girl's will stack up with each other. I really wanna do well so I can beat both of them because they're both arrogant snobs, but it's so hard to study during summer. :(
But I have to give some credit to Paul, he isn't as bad as the girl like with the whole grades deal.

lol, that's right .. exactly true. even if I got a 2400. my dad told me that a kid in his school used to do that too, pretend he didn't study when he did, so everyone would think he was a genius. And my dad said to just ignore it cuz it's simply stupidity.

well, I never got any 800s on SATs, but I got pretty darn close.

I got a perfect math on my psat once, a 760 and 780 math SAT I. I never got bashed at all, usually only because I discuss them with my close friends (and because my school is so diverse!). But they're not all complete nerds either. Myself, I'm pretty athletic: a school record holder for swimming. And some of my smart friends include: a 6' 3" 185 lb. swim team captain who could bench press an offensive lineman's body, an offensive lineman weighing in at 240 pounds, some really sweet girls who can kick ass whenever necessary. It's kinda strange that the smart people at my school are also the athletic/tough/butt bashing type too.

Yeah, asianwazoo. that is kinda weird...
About the Paul thing, how do you know he actually doesnt study? Some people pull off high A's by just paying attention in class....but when they say that about strictly objective tests that test your knowledge on specific facts, then, yes, they are lying. (Sometimes)

He acts like he doesn't care about anything ever. I'm serious, he "tries" to sleep in class and tries to act like he's so cool, like he doesn't have to do anything to get good grades. If someone asks him for his homework, they'll get "Pssh i didn't do it, i have to get it from someone else too haha" and in reality ... he did it. So that's why he isn't as bad as the girl, cuz at least he pretends not to care, but the other girl is always up in your face about what you got. Those 2 kids are my main competition for valedictorian which is why I'm kinda bitter lol. Because both of their sisters in the same grade got val, so it's like "expected" they'll get it. And then I come along, oldest in my family .. with no real history of awesome grades like in elementary school or whatever.

I have to admit that i was pretty disappointed in myself for only getting a 790 on SATI math...but that's just me, been in advanced math all my life, and plus about half my friends got 800s :-/

i go to whitney hs in cerritos, ca and if no one knows its like supposedly the best high school in the country or something like that (not bragging just saying) so NOT getting an 800 at my school is like OMG UR STUPID!! haha but most ppl are relatively tolerant of other scores.

like for example someone with a 780 will resent someone with a 800 its pretty funny stuff. but yea gotta love azns =)
