Do you get credit for classes you skip?

<p>Scenario: I want to switch out of MAT21A to MAT 21B. If I want to take classes that have MAT 21A as a prerequisite, can I still take it, even if I haven’t taken MAT 21A, because I am taking MAT21B?</p>

<p>“getting credit” is a strange way to put it; you don’t get units for 21a. but since 21b is after 21a, completion of 21b would imply that you completed 21a
if you’re asking about taking 21b and a class that requires 21a concurrently, i would think so since 21b “requires” 21a in a sense, but you should probably ask an adviser.</p>
