Do you Get to Pick Roomates?

<p>My friend goes to school out of state and he says that he filled out his room mate preferences and then he got to choose who he wanted to live with. Since the UCLA Room Mate preference questions don't ask too much, will I get to contact my Room Mates before we go and if we don't get along will UCLA find me new ones?</p>
