Do you guys think I'm gonna get in?

<p>I didn't really have that much interest in coming to Minnesota until a couple weeks ago, but I started taking a closer look at the place and it's actually moving up on my list pretty fast. I applied on January 2nd, which will probably hurt me since it's so late =[</p>

I think your chances would have been greater if you applied before Dec 15th as myself. Your admission now will be considered on a space-avialable basis and will hear by April 15th.</p>

<p>That sucks. I had all my supporting documents in by like the end of November, but I didn’t submit the online application until 1-2-10. Am I still considered to be “after” the deadline?</p>

<p>I was admitted to the U and we have pretty much the exact same credentials, basically the same test scores, both ran for four years, and I applied in film. I would say that you have a really good chance of being admitted.</p>
