Do you guys think will be too late...?

So guys I am a junior and I'm new to this forum.
Do you guys think will be too late for me to take the sat this october for the first time when i will be a senior. The reason is, I havent started studying for it and I plan to aim high, at least 2200+, and I would study a lot during summer.

Also, I'm taking the subject test chem at May and Us history and math in june. This is because I'm currently in Ap chem, apush, and ap calc. I already bought the barrons guide for chem and math 2 and I will use amsco for apush. So do you guys think this is good, suject tests this may and june with the ap tests and then i study over summer for the SAT and take it at oct.

Of course! It’s definitely not too late, as long as all the tests you’re planning on taking are finished in October. I know a lot of seniors who take the SAT in October, but that’s literally you’re last chance to take the SAT before college apps.

Try out the ACT as well. There’s a test on June 8 (1 week after the SAT).

that plan is fine!

i took sat first time in october senior year with subject tests the next month. it’s definitely more stressful but it’s easily doable. the SAT forum section here is very helpful, the guide to getting 10+ on essay and such is great. I also recommend the free online sparknotes for grammar.
