Do you guys understand the Rutgers' essay?

I'm trying to write essay for Rutgers college, but I don't understand the essay prompt!! What are we suppose to write? can you guys explain to me? or examples?

What's the prompt?

Essay: Rutgers University is a vibrant community of people with a wide variety of backgrounds and experiences. How would you benefit from and contribute to such an environment? Consider variables such as your talents, travels, leadership activities, volunteer services, and cultural experiences. Only personal essays submitted via our website will be considered. You may enter a maximum of 4000 characters including spaces.

Sounds like you should just talk about the field of study, interest, hobby, volunteer activity, that you're most interested and involved in. Then talk about how the fact that you enjoy folk dancing or whatever will add richness and diversity to the Rutgers community. Start off with talking about your special interest, not about Rutgers.

Great advice Wackymother. EBHSSAT for instance if you have always done habitat for humanity then you can always add that since you already are a particitpant that you can add to the rutgers community by continueing your involvement in Habitat and that your benifit will be the oppertunity to participate in/on a grander scale of habitat. Good luck
