Where do you guys work?
How much do you get paid?

Yes, I work. I am a pharmacy technician at a drug store. i get paid a whopping six dollars an hour.

Yes, I have three part-time jobs.

The pay ranges from $9.25 - $15.00. Tutoring really is the way to go if one needs to make cash, as seen in the latter figure. :-)

I will have a job as a tutor next semester.

csummerlin....you really only get $6/hr??? In Massachusetts minimum wage is $6.75.

For me:
Grocery store bag boy
$6.75 an hour.

Yeah, minimum wage here, in NC, is only 5.15. The economy here pretty much sucks, as does everything else in this town. There is some bill where they are trying to raise minimum wage to 6.00, but i dont know. If I was a certified technician, i would make 9.00 an hour.. but you have to be 18, and have to take an exam.

Six Flags Fiesta Texas ride operator...hours in scorching heat with crying kids and fat people, all for $5.50 an hour. Aarrrrrgh. Only three more weeks, though :]

minimum wage in Mass is going up to $7.50 next year.

i don't work. i don't know what i'd do. maybe work in a book store or something? but there are none near me. oh well. haha.. maybe i'll lifeguard or something next summer.... yeah right.

i waitress
combining tips and salary, between 20-40/hour in the summer

I'm getting a job at a telephone survey call place.. not sure how much it pays yet though.
Last summer I was a tutor/peer mentor/taught abstinence, drugs, etc. are bad. Got paid 6 and the 7 per hour. Actually, that was two summers ago. Last summer/school year I worked at coughQuiznos cough $5 f-ing 50 an hour.
+ random other jobs for old people, churches, photography/design.

I work in a gift small gift shop with a cafe... I just got a pay raise of 50 whole cents! ...I now make 6.00 an hour! minimum wage here in IN is 5.15... it really needs to be a lot higher.

I used to work at kodak photo place.
I started with 10 p/hr. Then it slowly raised to $15.50 p/hr

It was good pay considering all I ever did was homework.. (hardly any customers)

So basically i got paid to do homework lol

I can't work during the school year because my school doesn't allow it.
:(

During the summer:
cut grass about $15/hr
Filing Temp minimum wage (excruciatingly boring)

Congress had a bill going around a month or so ago to raise national minimum wage to like $7.00/an hour, too bad it failed though.

As for me, I'm currently unemployed. I've turned it about 20 applications, but I guess NO ONE wants to cheaply pay a 17 year old with retail work experience in their business.

Freelance web developer over here.

Salary Range: $20/hr to as much as $50/hr

The hard part is landing a contract. Once you land a contract, the pay is nice...the stress isn't.

My parents don't let me work. They don't like the idea of working and going to school simultaneously. I really wish I had a job, though .

Well I worked all during my senior year scooping ice cream at $7.50/hr [working about 15hrs/wk], though I got fired a few weeks on the claim that I didn't care enough, so...

Teaching science to middle school kids (and playing sports with them, etc):
$10.00/hour, 5 hrs a day, 4 days a week

I want to be a tutor, how did you guys get your jobs?
