7 point grading scale (93-100 A, 85-92 B, rest I have no idea). QQ like, almost everyone gets As and Bs… but their Bs are 90-92. if we had 10 point grading scale, it’d be so much better for like… everyone.

mine is alright
94-100 a
87-93 b
78-86 c
70-77 d
69 & below f

^That’s as tough as they get. How is that “alright”?

92+ = A (including all those signs)
84+ = B
77+= C
76 and below = mandatory PIP/extra coursework and help

I can still make good marks even with my tough grading scale, so it’s alright.

^LOL that’s not the toughest. Just look at SoreSubject a few replies above.

Yes, but it’s significantly easier to get an A- or B+.

This is a terrible grading scale. A 93.9 is a B??? And a 69.9 an F??? I thought all schools were based on the ten point standard grading scale, but I guess not. How is that “all right”??

I would guess he goes to somewhere like TJ or a private school.

Some of your grading systems are harsh.

At my school, it totally depends on the teacher, but it seems that every teaches uses the 10-point scale, although each of them have their own cutoffs for the +/- and some don’t even use +/-.

yeah i’m glad we dont use +/- that would annoy me…

I guess I’m kind of OK with my grading scale:
90-100 A (4.0)
80-89 B (3.0)
70-79 C (2.0)
69-60 (1.0)
59-0 (0.0)
(APs +1.0, Honors +.5)

the only thing that bothers me is when awards time comes along. A person who takes all regular classes and easy electives and manages to get all As will get A+ Honor Roll, but an overachiever who takes 4 APs and 3 Honors classes and gets all As and a B in one of her AP classes won’t be able to get Honor Roll. It really bugs me…
