I don't, which sucks b/c i know a lot of people a little bit, but i don't have a core group of best friends. sometimes i feel it's too late to get one. i never feel i belong completely cause each group does their own things and activities and i'm usually not a good enough friend to be invited to the small things like hangout, study, lunch and the bigger things like trips, concerts, vacations, etc

Why can't you ask some people to come hang out or go to lunch with you? Friendship is a two way street.

Until you go out of your way for them, they won't go out of their way for you.

i used to, but then i was all like, screw that - these people are lame. so now i just have what you have.

Best friends and "groups" are two different things. Don't try to create friends, create real, solidified relationships. Once you genuinely trust and admire a couple of people (they don't have to know each other), the rest will follow. Groups never really work. It is always about the individual, and if you don't have a strong core...well, you're screwed.

Yes I do and its not hard to find them. My group didn't even form until this semester. But now it is awesome and we hang out basically all the time.
