does anyone have class where no one is getting A even though its a class that smart kids take?? i have an ap class that highest grade is 82%...

All my classes ?

well, my school is 0-100...but if you mean a class where nobody is getting a 97+? Yes. But I've found most teachers only do this first trimester, so don't give up hope of an A.

geez, I wish. In my AP Calc class (the hardest math/science class in my school this year) there are two people in the classes with over 100%.

I wish the classes at my school were harder. The Honors classes are such a joke. (I have over a 95% in five out of six of my classes, and a B+ in AP Calc)

In 3rd year Spanish class in my school there is a class where no-one has above a 89%

and AP English, 1 girl got an A and the rest of the people got Bs

Our french 4 AP class at my school has an average grade of 60%. The lowest grade in that class is a 38%. Thank god i am in spanish 4 ap =] w00t

^^ Our AP french class is no better and for some reason our school can't take the AP exam or the alternate for the school is closed both days or something so they don't need to take the exam.....The french teacher started crying in the halls..I felt bad for her but the highest exam grade anyone ever got in that class while she taught it was a 3 (from what I've heard)

"The Honors classes are such a joke"

Arrghhh. The same holds true for my school. Complete idiots take the classes. When I walk into my English class, I truly think that my IQ falls a few points. About five of the most idiotic girls in my grade are in that class, and destroy any discussion that they enter (example: "I don't like Tom. He, like, used to be funny, but now he, like, whines all the time. The way he talks is so like, um, annoying. I can't understand him. Why can't he talk normal? Did the writer do that on purpose or something?")

The only hard classes are H/AP Chem, AP Calc (BC), AP Bio (H is a joke), and ANY French class taught by one of the teachers. One teacher is ridiculously easy, the next is passable but incredibly annoying... and the last teacher is very smart, an excellent teacher.... and the scariest person that I will ever meet. She's so intimidating, but I learn so much from her. She's also a tough grader though, and many of my friends hate her because they have C's or D's in her class.

This is what curves are for...

not this year currently cuz i'm a senior and i can take cool slacker classes. hehe. but i'm pretty sure nobody in my apes class has an A simply because our teacher SUCKS and we had like 3 grades for the entire term which screwed us all over.

but last year in honors physics we calculated the test avgs after every test and they usually came out to something like a 50-60%...

My gov class has an average of 38. It's supposed to be an "honors" class, but it sucked so bad they dropped the honors title last year.

I would hate to have a class that hard. I'm just happy taking classes with Honors and AP titles that are still relatively easy.

Oh it's easy. It's just that nobody does anything. They assume that it'll be a blowoff class so nobody does their homework. Our teacher gives unlimited extra credit and people still flunk. It's funny though, there were 2 people with A's and 21 Fs. It's impossible to do all your homework and get below a B.
