Do you have enough time to 'get out and smell the roses'?

<p>When attending Stanford, do you actually have any time to enjoy the surrounding city, and especially, be able to visit San Francisco once in a while? How often? Do you have that kind of luxury there?</p>

<p>Definitely yes! Of course, work load will vary, depending on major and how many classes you sign up for. However, my son has always found time to take part in outside activities, visit the city (SF) occasionally, and do more than just study.</p>

<p>What major does your son take? I'm thinking of taking something like computer science at Stanford, but I'm assuming that CS is a pretty rigorous course to take?</p>
