I've noticed that on a lot of forums that many well known posters nearly disappeared on the websites now that they are in college.

So my question is why do you spend less time on FB and CC? Is it because you've matured and grown apart from those websites or that you have less time to update your status.

Do you have less time to go online now that your in college like on FB and CC? Or do you have a better social life and hobbies to replace "online life"

Well, considering that CC is primarily used by students to get into college, it would make sense that some users wouldn’t need it once they made it to college.

Generally, though, I am probably online more because I have my computer with me more. I also watch most of my TV online because I’m usually busy during primetime on weeknights.

I believe that students entering college naturally phase themselves off of CC for the basic reason that the website no longer caters to their immediate interests as it did in high school.

I enjoy browsing and reading the material on CC, but I truly do not believe that I will continue to maintain this same interest due to the many activities that college presents.

I spend about the same, but I was online during almost every waking hour in high school same as now-- even at school. I have always had a lot of work to do that requires the internet, so I am always using it.

Yep, partially because I’ve got more access to the internet, but also partially because I don’t know many people at my current school. Whereas last year in high school I hung out with friends all the time, so I wasn’t online as much. Miss those days, honestly.

As a high school student, I too rigidly depend on the Internet for a fair portion of my work. The only issue is that I often become distracted by email and websites such as CC.

I am a Taiwanese college student. I think the college students in Taiwan have a lot of time to surf the net, chat with their friends online or play FB instead of having no time to go online. Because high school students in our country are very busy. They have to go to school from 6 a.m to 5 p.m, and have a lot of test for every class. However, when you enter college, you don’t need to go to school all day, so you have more time to go online.

Nah, you’re online more believe me. If you have class for an hour and a half on some days obviously you’re gonna be on the internet more than in HS when you had 7 hours of class a day.

Then again, I wake up late afternoon most days anyway =D
