take prereqs online

@OP: I definitely don't.

AP Lang
AP Bio
Honors Precal
Honors Physics
Honors French II
Health
USH

4 class spaces

AP Physics B
AP Macro Econ
AP Music Theory
AP Eng Lit
AP Stat (online)

The only class that isn't a joke is English Lit. Other people at my school seem to have more work to do, even if it's not really more rigorous.

How do you manage to squeeze in AP courses in sophomore year? Are there no prerequisites?
I know sophomores who take up to 3 APs. At my school 3 years of Latin are required, so everyone is eligible for Latin APs in the 10th grade. The rest are social studies APs with no prereq.s like Art History, Human Geography and APUSH.

Most top students at my high school take AP Bio and AP Euro in 10th grade. The only prerequisite is that you have to have taken World History in 9th grade for Euro (APWH is not offered).

AP hounds also often take Psych and Music Theory.

I can never have the most rigorous, IB beat us on that.

i dont even have the most rigorous sched in my AP lang row. the kid i sit next to is taking 4 APs (the max you can take per year at my school), 2 of which are AP bio and APES (he has no interest in science though)

Nerdiest. Thread. Ever.
[LMAO]

Yeah, I'm most rigorous along with a bunch of other sophs (Honors Algebra 2/Trig, Honors English 10, AP World, which are the hardest classes offered). And I study AP Psych on my own. My school this year sucks, but junior year at my new school, my schedule will be awesome. For me, at least. (AP Biology, AP Gov't, AP English Literature, AP Calc BC...classes I'm actually interested in.)

In Germany there isn't really something like the most rigorous schedule, they only differ by one or two classes. As far as choosing my classes based on random interests and therefore having to take more than the usual I am definitely the winner.
Heck, I almost live in school on some week-days. My school doesn't offer many electives but I basically took all of them(except computer science, but that sadly didn't work out).

lol. most rigorous in the district.

There are a few of us who basically have the same schedule, except different electives and different languages. The only reason I'm not in Latin 2 Advanced, like some others are in Spanish 3 Advanced or French 3 Advanced, is that the highest level is advanced.

Adv. Algebra 2
Adv. English 10
Adv. Chem
Adv. Modern History/ APUSH
Honors C++
Honors Latin 2

I'm relatively positive I have one of the most rigorous schedule in my school's history. I take...
AP Calc (AB is the only one offered)
AP Stat
AP Bio
AP CompSci
AP Psych
AP Chem
AP Euro
AP English Lang

That's 8 classes, yet there are only 6 time slots during the day, one of which needs to be health/gym. I took the health/gym over the summer, so that opened up one, but I also take Psych and CompSci simultaneously through Virtual High School, thus making it possible for me to take 8 classes, none of which are technically self-studied (but I consider VHS self-study with a grade). People rarely take advantage of VHS, so I'm pretty sure no one did what I'm doing.

oh yea. mine will probably be the most rigorous in the district's history too.

Yes I do have the most rigorous schedule in my school (small school, not that competitive):

Accounting I
AP Spanish Language
AP Calc BC
AP Statistics
AP English Lit
AP Chemistry
Advanced Physics
World Religions (Dual Enrollment)
PE

PE, World Religions, Advanced Physics, and Accounting I are 1 semester courses that I either took last semester or am taking now.

Ap biology
ap chemistry
ap chemistry lab
honors precalc
ap lang and comp
ap us history

I think I have the most rigorous schedule. I opted out of AP Calc, but I'm taking it in college so I guess that they would be around the same difficulty. I take

AP Spanish
Physics
Shakespeare and the Novel (I didn't have to take this. Most young scholars only take three courses, but I decided to add another elective.)
Economics
Calculus I (college)
Fundamentals of Public Speech (college)

It might not sound that hard compared to some people on CC, but it's definately the hardest courseload my school offers.

I certainly wouldn't say mine is the most rigorous. I'm a senior.

Honors English 12
Wind Ensemble
AP Comparative Politics
AP Calculus
Honors World History
AP Spanish Literature
Jazz Ensemble
perhaps...in the top 7

AP Calculus BC
AP Biology
LA II Honors
Physics Honors
Spanish 4 Honors
American Studies I Honors

for a sophomore.
hmm..let me edit mine...after seeing all the schedules in my class I definitely have the most rigorous...but probably not on CC..lol

about the rating for "most demanding"... my counselor put that for me. she barely knows me. she just assumed. so just make sure when u stop by her office ur book bag is full, pull out ur glasses (if u wear em), and complain about school (mildly and joyfully).

i think i had a pretty good junior year (10 classes - 8 in school and 2 online). it was the best i could do, we had, like no options.

ib psych ii
ib math studies
ib history of the americas
ib english iii
ib biology ii
spanish iii honors/pre-ib
research iv (honors)

all of them were required except the math
and in the summer i took macroeconomics at a local college
online
ap us govt
latin i (regular, thats all that was there)

this was so easy compared to senior year though... senior year is killer and i dont even have online classes (senior year the only diff is no math studies, but ib tok and ib spanish)

taking nowhere near the most rigorous load for my class, took a relatively load last semester but now i'm back to average load... pft at least i can scoff at the more rigorous kids when they have lower GPA's than me =P
