Do you have to be "weird" to get into UCB

What do they ask of you that’s different than other UCs that make them choose you? I don’t get this but it seems u must be “odd” to get them to like you and want you. Where do u indicate ur views on your applications?

You don't. It's the very same application for all of the UCs.

They dont ask you anything different. The application is 100% identical to the application for every other UC. The only way to express your personal views would be if you chose to do that in your personal essay, which not everyone does. Berkeley is a very diverse school, not everyone is a super liberal "weirdo."

well why they dont ask you for any more then any other uc, they do ask you for less since your not allowed to put a second major

Putting down a major doesn't even matter-- at least for the College of Letters and Science, all freshmen come in undeclared, even if they follow through with the same intended major they applied with.

That's such a funny question, lol. I was almost disappointed when I first visited Berkeley, as people seemed normal. I was expecting to see a campus full of freaks - judging by stuff I had read. No, honestly, I don't think being weird is a requirement. LOL!

"But I don't want to go among mad people," Alice remarked.
"Oh, you can't help that," said the Cheshire OskiBear: "we're all mad here. I'm mad. You're mad."
"How do you know I'm mad?" said Alice.
"You must be," said the OskiBear, "or you wouldn't have come here."
