do you have to complete online application part 2 all in one sitting?

Title says it all. Do you have to complete online application part 2 all in one sitting?

I have been hesitant to start because I don't want to get to the essays and then have to type them right as I get to the essay page.

Can you save your position within the application? If not, can someone tell me what the essay prompts are? I'm applying to waslh.

Thanks
J

You can’t save it. It’s dumb but true. If you click on the PDF file of the app the questions are right there for all the schools and stuff. The essays are just copy and paste I believe.

ah, wow. I thought I must have been missing something.

thanks for alerting me to the presence of the pdf file, I didn’t think to look for one.

The stupidity of the way the online application is designed is why my son ultimately sent in a paper application for Georgetown. You can copy and paste, but there were other issues as well. (Can’t remember what - he applied EA.)

Sad but true. Do not navigate away from that pdf page. My DS found out the hard way when he first made that mistake. I was amused at his solution to the “no save” issue while he used our common family computer to complete the app. Afraid that an other family member would close the open browser window when he stepped away, He typed a banner in word to cover the desktop using what must have been 96pt.font: DO NOT CLOSE FIREFOX! YOU MAY CLOSE THIS WINDOW! I didnt touch a thing! a lighter moment im stressful process.

My S got so frustrated with Georgetown’s antiquated app that he too, sent in the paper version! I also think it made him loose a bit of interest in the school. They should update their system - makes people wonder if the entire campus/facilities are that out-of date.
