I am self-studying two AP exams this year. These will be my first ever AP exams, therefore I am extremely nervous. I really want a five. The problem is I read somewhere that you have to choose a college on the exam day to send your scores to. Do you have to do this? I don't want to send my score if it's not good... Also, after you receive your results, is it possible to forward them to other colleges? Like I said, this is my first AP experience so I am a little confused. Any help/advice would be appreciated!

Also, if you do poorly on the exam is there any way to retake it or cancel your score after it’s all said and done?

You can retake it the next year. No canceling, but you don’t have to send your AP scores. You don’t have to put a college on test day either.

Ok thanks.
