Hello All- My D has taken the SAT and the ACT once each and has scored much better on the ACT- a 33 vs. an 1870. She has decided not to retake either test because a 33 should be more than high enough for her desired schools (but her SAT score would not be). All her schools have said (in the information sessions) that they only consider the higher score and she can send them either test. However, I noticed that some of the college applications nevertheless ask for her to send all test scores or the apps ask which tests were taken and the dates. My question is, do you think she has to submit her SAT score to these colleges? I realize this sounds like I am trying to get her to be deceptive, but I do not want the schools to be influenced by the lower score (which they say they do not consider).

I don’t think so. Unless she previously sent her score to the college, they’d have no way of knowing that she even took the SAT.
