Do you have to submit all your SAT Subject test scores to the UCs?

If one subject test score isn’t so good, can you choose to not send it?

Since the UC’s do not require SAT subject tests for admission, you can use score choice and select the scores you want to send.

Ohh I see, even for competitive majors in schools such as UCSD that recommend Subject tests, you can still use score choice? And we can’t use score choice for the SAT’s correct?

The UC’s want all your SAT I or all ACT scores and they will use the highest score from a single sitting. Not all subject test scores are required, since none of the UC’s require Subject tests for admissions. Recommended means if you are able to take these tests, then you should submit them to make you a more competitive applicant. No UC recommends more than 2 SAT subject tests.

The statement on UC’s pathways website that says all SATs are required is inapplicable to SAT subject tests and you can send whater subject tests you want to send. Moreover, if you call UC admissions, the answer you are likely to get is that you do not even have to submit all SAT’s but instead just one with the highest composite, see e.g., http://talk.qa.collegeconfidential.com/sat-act-tests-test-preparation/1912440-must-you-submit-all-sat-act-or-sat-subject-test-scores-p6.html

yes @drusba is definitely correct! I called last week (recorded call) and they said send in the SAT or ACT with highest composite. I know many say that you should send in the entire testing history of the SAT because that is what it says on the website (ACT seems clearer on that), but just saying that multiple people have called UC admissions and that is NOT what they are stating.
