Do you intend to enroll in a degree program?

<p>In the Future Plans section of the Common App, some colleges ask "Do you intend to enroll in a degree program your first year?"</p>

<p>What exactly does this mean - if you will declare your major immediately? What are the implications of this? I'm fairly set on my major (econ) and I know I'll be doing this - so I should just say yes right? </p>

<p>Or is it referring to a special program or something?</p>

<p>No it simply is asking whether you will be working toward a undergraduate degree (i.e. Bachelor’s degree). You are correct - just put “yes.” Hope this helps!</p>
