Do you keep your text books?

Being in college I have moved many times. From apartments, to rooms in houses, to friends living rooms. I've moved maybe 7 times since I began college. There is one thing that I always dread moving. My books! So far I have kept all of them, but I never open them again after I finish a class. Should I get rid of them and make my future moves much easier? Or, will I miss them to much? Should we keep our text books or dump them?

I usually sell them on Amazon so that I can get (at least part) of my money back that I paid for them.
The books I do keep are the ones I actually have a genuine interest in or I feel may help me in my major later on.

Otherwise, I sell them all.

I plan on keeping all of my statistics books (I’m a Stat major), but I sell everything else if I can. Unfortunately, I’m stuck with a few that could not be sold.

Only the ones in regard to my major except Art History.

major-related ones and my Spanish textbook

I’ve kept all the books from my major as well as any from tangentially related fields. While in grad school I’ve gone to each one of them a few times. It’s also nice because when friends from outside my field ask me a question I can give them an answer off the top of my head, and let them borrow a book talking more about it if they want to learn more.

I sell every book away so I can use the money I get back to buy the following semester’s books.
