Do you know how is conversion the GPA from 100 to 4.0?

Following GPA ranges are come from Colloegeboard. Do you know how is conversion for the each GPA range to 4.0 criterion? Thanks.
Grade Point Average
*Your Grade Point Average:
A+ (97-100)
A (93-96)
A- (90-92)
B+ (87-89)
B (83-86)
B- (80-82)
C+ (77-79)
C (73-76)
C- (70-72)
D+ (67-69)
D (65-66)

divide by 25
or divide by 100 and multiply by 4

oso123: Thanks for your reply, but did you school do this way? I never heard this way. : )

That’s the way I did it.

BUT our school didn’t give us 4.0 GPAs, they only tell us the GPA from the 1-100 scale.

That’s just how I logically did it.

I have a 90.52 gpa what does that convert to out of 4.0? My school doesn’t convert it cause I think NY schools do only 1-100

Most schools use this scale:
A/A+ is 4.0
A- is 3.7
B+ is 3.3
B is 3.0
B- is 2.7
C+ is 2.3
C is 2.0
C- is 1.7
D+ is 1.3
D is 1.0
D- is 0.7
F is 0.6 or less

Unfortunately, this does not work out to % grade/25
