I am really just testing to see if my new avatar works!

Well,I like them, Rellielou. And since the poster names are so small, now I will have to memorize everyone by the avatars…sheesh.

I’m going to change mine every week! Just kidding. I’ll need a really good photo to replace this one. :)

I like your giraffes. LoL :)

Those are one of my favorite animals. :x
Btw…my avatar is one of my daughter’s drawings from last year (she was 12 then)

Thanks, folks! NYCMomof3, that is a very cool drawing. Thanks for sharing! I love seeing what artsy kids can do.

Look at what this artsy girl can do! She takes pictures of food.

My oatmeal picture from yesterday… oh my goodness gosh it is beautiful.

Nice drawing, NYCMom! Looks like one of the characters from animes my kids enjoy. I’ll have to ask them if they know who it might be. ;)

payn4ward, it’s a character she made up. Her portfolio is filled with so many of these. She is working on a story line with her characters.

Mine is a slug that I knit a while ago. Yes, my kids think I’m a lunatic and they’re probably right.

friendlymom I think your slug is too cute…I’m always a little jealous of those who can knit. I don’t have the patience nor the talent for that. :((

I wants the slug! So cuuuuute!

Got me some pelicans!

I am trying to find the “perfect” Rural Mama… Ah, this one looks cheery. I’ll be her for a while!

Ruralmama, you are cracking me up! don’t go too Amish though ;)

Friendlymom, I’ve always enjoyed your posts. Now seeing your knitted slug, I think you are super cool.

Wow, thank you doschicos et al! I’m kind of liking the avatar thing.

Testing avatar, have been lurking and learning. Thanks for all the great information. Boarding school was not on our radar and son has made a big effort to apply. Seeing him step up has stimulated me to go out of my comfort zone and post to the forum.

@RuralMama, try google image search on ‘woman farmer cartoon’. You’d be surprised how many hot-looking, pitchfork-wielding, overalls-clad mamas pop up! 3:-O 3:-O 3:-O

Hey - look at those! Thanks, GMT! And your animated cows are very fun too. However, I’m going to stay hunkered down by the woodstove here a little longer. It’s cold outside! (In fact, time to fetch more wood - we really do heat our house that way.)
