Do you like school?

What do you like about it?

What don't you like about it?

I don’t like that it’s tiring af.

I like: AP Euro and Band

I don’t like: Everything else

I like the people including teachers and students.
Wouldn’t mind a few hours of studying and hw but my school is just overboard.

My school’s system is inherently flawed and extremely logically fallacious, the student body is largely apathetic and ignorant, the faculty have little to commend themselves, the classes aren’t particularly enlightening or thought-provoking (aside from a few exceptions, of course), and now, the school board has taken so much of what provided my school experience with happiness and motivation (i.e. they’ve preserved the athletics department’s budget and slashed UIL academics’ budget).

Even so, I’ve met a few people who I can honestly say make my life a bit more bearable each day. Also, theatre is a great passion of mine and I love the school auditorium. Recently, I’ve taken to LD debate, which is a much appreciated opportunity to invigorate my perspective and ideals…in other words, to verbally obliterate every opponent in sight.

So yeah, school sucks, but it doesn’t have to suck too much.

I don’t like hearing my peers talk about how “THIS IS THEIR LAST YEAR OF SCHOOL LOL SWEET NO MORE SCHOOL” and I can’t experience that because I’ll probably be in college until I’m 30.

Like: How non-ghetto and dirty it is as my previous school, my best friend, and our sports teams are powerhouses

Dislike: The size, trying to find one person in a 3 story school divided into 3 buildings filled with 1937 kids walking super slow in the hallway, is veeeery hard. lol

I prefer it to working full time. I like most of the teachers, but the culture at my school is very cliquey and jockish. I don’t like that aspect of it.

I also don’t like certain subjects as much (like English or some of the humanities) but I enjoy learning Calc and Organic Chemistry.

I like school. I go to a public school, which sometimes just saddens me because I used to go to a private Catholic school, but after changing countries, some luxuries just wilt away. Other than that, I like learning and I like talking to my friends so, yes I do indeed like school.

For a while, I was really dissatisfied with school. My classes, I thought, were filled with random busywork and teaching to the AP test. My classmates, I thought, were boring and unmotivated and concerned more with clothes/sports/drugs than doing schoolwork or becoming interesting people.

Then I stopped being anal and learned to relax. Much happier now.
