I don’t get that mentality at all. I find it to be rewarding to study or do homework and end up with a good grade, but the vast majority of time I’d rather practice my flute for 5 hours than stay up past midnight homeworking.

For me, it honestly depends what kind of homework it is. If it’s math or science related, then I probably won’t mind it, but if it’s writing (or planning out) an essay or reading from a history textbook or something of that nature, then I won’t want to do it. To be honest, the material taught in my classes isn’t very difficult at all; we just get a ridiculous amount of work to do every night, like twice what the average school might give. And frankly, I think it would be more rewarding and productive if I studied new material on my own (like I’m doing with calculus), or just if (to quote the poster above me) I practice flute for 5 hours a day (because the insane amounts of homework are definitely not helping my music skills :().

I hate homework.

Honestly what kind of a question is this…

^ welcome to cc

Depends on the subject, I’ve grown to like math alot for some reason so I’ll glaaaadly do the homework, same for APUSH and AP Lang & Comp, but when it comes to Physics, just, just get it away from me…

Homework: Copy all 60+ of the key terms and definitions out of the book onto sheets of paper. Now take a minimum of 4 pages of notes on the chapter you just read and there must be questions in the side and a summary at the bottom.

Free points… But a waste of time. I score lower in the classes with a bunch of busy work than classes that tell me to just read the chapter take a test on it. Now Calculus is different. At least some of the word problems take me a while to visualize and setup the integral and find a way to evaluate it. It’s fun at the least. Problem solving at its best.

I agree with goodnoodle. I’d like just to finish all of the work at school. Homework steals the time of sleeping, so I am usually sleepless and look like a mummy. ;/

By the way! Didn’t expect to receive so many answers! I am glad that You are active :)

I dont really like homework… Projects that are creative are fun, reading is okay, papers and hw involving writting is not good … But I don’t mind a little hw

i really hate homework with a passion!but i have no other choice than doing it so i guess i have to deal with it!

What kind of question is this? -.- I’m sure everyone would rather do something else than homework.

Smarty1201, if You read last posts, You would figure out that some of the people actually like doing HW :)

It depends. I generally devote enough time to HW, but I would much rather study on my own.
