Do you need to get EVERY question right on the ACT for a 36?

I got a 34 without studying too much, and I’m taking the ACT again in June after studying just to see if I can get a 36 with some preparation. But I have a question: do you need to get literally every single question right on every section for a 36? Or can you get one or two wrong throughout the test and still “average” out to a 36? On my practice exams I’ve been getting 1-3 English questions wrong out of the entire section, so I’m just wondering if that will drop me down a 35 (not that I’m complaining; I’m mostly curious).

No, you dont need everything correct.

A 35.5 is a 36

No, some tests are deemed more difficult than others and sometimes can get a 35 in a certain section and still have a composite score of 36

You can get a 35 in up to two sections, or a 34 in one section to get a 36. This can amount to between 1-3 questions wrong depending on the curve.
