Do you need to send AP scores to colleges?

<p>My counselor tells me that school will report AP scores to colleges? Is it right? So I can save some money.</p>

<p>You self-report your scores on the applications. You only send your scores in July to the school you're going to go to.</p>

<p>I know of no college that requires an official CB score report for admission purposes (but they may be out there). CB only provides one "free" score report bcos they assume you will use it in May of your senior year, after YOU have selected your college.</p>

<p>And some schools report them in the transcript - and obviously the OP's school does do that..</p>
