Do you need to submit first trimester grades for SCEA?

My school runs on a trimester grading system - I’m wondering whether Princeton sees or asks for first trimester grades when making the decision for SCEA applicants. I’m currently getting chopped in two of my classes (hovering around a B) and want to know if I should be worried. I’ve been hearing that Princeton sometimes calls guidance counselors sometime around December. Is this also true for students not on a quarter grading system?

I think they do ask your counselor to send the first (semester, trimester or quarter)'s grades. This is in the Mid-year report section of the Common Application. But in my opinion, this is to be sent in around January so you still have time to improve your grades.

It is my understanding that they want first semester grades if they are available. If they know your high school they will know they are available. My D’s HS was trimester and her’s were sent in time for SCEA.
