<p>In 11-12 grade, ib biology (or chemistry) are 2 year courses. In 9th grade, I took pre dp biology and in 10, I will be taking pre dp chem. My school offers reg physics and ap physics. If I want toget into an ivy, is it necessary to take a physics ? Most people at my school don't do physics but Ap biology in 11th and ap chem in 12th grade, or 2 years of ib science Should I take physics as an elective, and which one if so? I don't know what to do and I want to be very competitive .</p>
<p>Unless you feel that you need physics for a college major, I see no need for you to worry about taking it.</p>
