Do you recommend skipping math 20a/b and just take math 20c?

If you got a 5 on the ap calc bc exam? could we take math 20a/b again for a letter grade or would it be a waste of time and we should just go and take 20c?

You can’t take Math 20A/B for a letter grade so I would recommend just taking 20C.

Yeah just go directly into 20c, thats what I’m doing.

i think you can get a letter grade, but you won’t get any units. some people have to redo genchem in this way (even though they got 5s on the AP) to show med schools that they were indeed capable (again) of college-level chem.

silly system, i know. i’d probably have to take BILD 1/2 even with a PhD in biology.

Hi, I’m in a similar situation as the OP.
I got a 3 on my BC exam, and I have no interest in math, but I think I have to take 10C,20B,20C for my one year math requirement (pre-med)

oh and getting a 3 means I’m exempt from 10A,10B,20A…which means I basically cannot take the whole 10 series…?

Thanks!

med schools just want to see the grades you got – you can take them for the grades, but you won’t get credit.
