I want to get a head start on my units, but I don't know if I should take classes that pertain to my intended major or just classes to finish my GE. I wanted to take micro or macroecon (intended bus. econ major), but the summer classes are only online. Is it worth it? Have you experienced a summer class? Online? Thanks!

I would say do GE classes. They are most likely to be the same as in your university. Your major classes should be taken in your university, where you have professors with more experience and better quality.

My university doesn’t like to take credit for CC classes so I haven’t tried it, but to me even online it seems like a good way to make some progress in GE classes. Just make sure your credits transfer.

I tried summer classes online once and was not pleased. You don’t learn as much as you would if you attend the class, and the feedback is horrible (or at least it was in my opinion). Definitely go ahead and do your GE classes, but i’d save the major classes for in-person.
