<p>You're definitely in. On your accomplishments alone, not because your a black female (they don't take race or sex into consideration, as it is a public school).</p>

<p>Now that "they" think you can get in...the question is do you feel that you'll enjoy and prosper at GA Tech. Definitely plan a visit to the campus, stay overnight, attend classes and make your decision. Only you can decide if Tech is for you. My daughter is at Tech and chose on her own to attend. I would have preferred another her second or third choice but she made the right choice for her and has enjoyed the four years. Tech isn't for everyone but it is a top flight education for those that graduate. It becomes what you make of it...best of luck in your decision.</p>
