I know this is a stupid question but I applied for early decision and the application's deadline for November 1st. Then the college said that the materials (transcripts, recommendations, SAT/ACT scores, etc.) were due on December 1st. Does this apply to regular decision? I didn't receive the decision letter from my Early decision college yet.

For example, my college application for regular decision deadline is January 5th. Do I have to send everything including the SATs, the transcripts and others immediately after I submit the application? My sister have been yelling at me that I should've applied earlier but my college advisor said I should wait until I get the letter before I applied for regular decision.

What should I do? This is driving me insane!

I would check on the website, but I think that the all the other materials are for early decision. For regular decision, the materials would be due later.

I would send everything after the deadline. You don’t have to as long as you send it before the deadline.

@nbfanforever Oh I see, I am just making sure because I was wondering if the early decision and the regular decision process are different or not. I was scared that the supplemental are due on the same day the application is due.

Oh wait a minute I just read my post.
I’m so sorry “I would send everything after YOU SUBMIT YOUR APPLICATION not DEADLINE”
that was a horrible typo

and no, the extra materials are not due the same day

@nbfanforever Oh it’s alright. I am so relieved from your answer. Thank you!
