Do you study ... at all?

I see a lot of posts asking "how do you study", but I'm curious to see how many of you find the need to study at all.
As for me: I study only on very rare occasions - say, for the PSAT/SAT, SAT II Tests, or AP tests. The rest... no, as a general rule.

I'm short on time, so - what about the rest of you?

Uh yeah. I study. A lot. Be happy that you don’t have to.

Well, I don’t know about this year yet, but last year I didn’t really. I only did for Chem, but not because I had to, but because I found it so interesting… Lol, I love chemistry…

Anyway, it’s junior year, and well, who knows. I probably will have to study…

Half the kids in my school don’t study at all too! They fail all their classes by the way.

I did last year (my final year of high school). But this year in my first year of university my workload has dropped off to a ridiculous extent and yeah, I haven’t been studying.

Not studying isn’t too good for your grades when you’re in Law school either haha.

I’m not even gonna lie, I don’t really study. Even for tests that I have every intention of studying for - I end up not. The first time I ever put any time into studying was for last years ap tests.

I didn’t study freshman/sophomore year and got a ~3.4 GPA. I studied junior year and got a 4.0 that year. I’ve found out that studying helps.

LOL I’m just waiting for the self-proclaimed genius to come on here and say “I haz nver studied, have a 4.0 gpa, 2400 sat, 36 act, and I’m better than u nubs lolz”.

Just waiting. :D

I have never studied until this year, not going to lie, studying is a smart idea.

I study for college entrance exams (SAT, ACT, and PSAT). I NEVER study for math tests or honors/regular class tests. As a matter of fact, I actually only started studying last year, for AP tests, both official and periodical.

I do it, usually before a big test, but then (in school at least) I realize that I really don’t need to because I know how to do the material from reading it before.

I’m always studying–every moment. I’m always processing information so that it may be used to my advantage at some later point in time.

I’ve never lost at anything. Whenever there’s a mystery around school that needs solving, I’m the one they call.

Well, if my grade in the class is in danger (About to go below 93), then I study.
Oh and die hard studying for finals and standerdized tests.

I really only study for Spanish because I’m taking AP so it’s essential and rewarding to study. For AP Psych, I just read once and pay attention and go through flashcards and whatever.

Nope. I have perfect recall, so that might help a bit.

Some people, however, do have to study. It doesn’t mean that they’re less smart than me. It’s all about learning styles and retention capacity and stuff.

If you consider doing HW and paying attention in class to be studying, then yes, I do. I don’t actively study, except for major stuff (SAT’s, APs, Finals, etc.), and even then, not really.

I don’t have to, but I choose to. I’m trying to create good study habits now, so that when I’m in college, it won’t be that hard.

I study alot for Chemistry and Health Sciences, not so much for Physics. I don’t study for English, but reading a book all the time is my studying for that class.

It depends on the class. I rarely study for english/foreign language- I might glance over my notes before a test, but nothing too major. I didn’t really ever have to study for geometry last year apart from exams, but I’ve got to put a lot of effort into my algebra II class this year. And I’ve always had to study for history and science classes, because it involves a lot of memorization.

I cram the morning of/period before a test. If it’s a regent I may not study at all (Earth Science, Bio) or study for an entire week with very little breaks (Global, Trig(

I only really studied my Junior Year in H.S.
