Do you study for subject tests? If so, how?

Basically the title.

Are these even hard?

They are hard if you don’t know the subject well. If it’s SAT Lit, then you can’t really study. But if it’s something like SAT Chem, then you’d best study, because the test expects you to know the material.

If I take AP US and AP Chem, how hard will the subject exams be? How did you study (if you took them)?

Any advice for Math II prep? That’s my big one.

Math II isn’t hard if you’re good at math. The highest level topics are Law of Cosines and Sines, with a lot of geometry.

SAT Chem was easy since I took the AP course/exam. I remember the AP exam being somewhat easy because our course was rigorous. The SAT exam was significantly easier than the AP exam.

Don’t know anything about the SAT US History exam. Didn’t take it

@yalchar for math 2 prep, do Barron’s.

By the way, I dig the yellow furry avatar! What is that thing?

It depends how recently you took the classes. I took my tests ~6 months after I finished AP Chem, and I had to study a lot and still didn’t do that well. (I didn’t know they were a thing until senior year.)

I used the materials on the CollegeBoard website, I think?
