Do you take your GMAT before MBA admission or in undergrad?

<p>If I plan on getting 5 years for example of work experience between undergraduate and getting my MBA, do I take the GMAT undergraduate or about a year before applying to the MBA program while working?</p>

<p>GMAT scores are only valid for 5 years. So, take it within 5 years of applying to grad school.</p>

<p>Generally, you hear people say that you have a tendency to better on these type of tests when you are in school or closer to it; so would look to take the GMAT more like one year out of school than four years out of school.</p>

<p>I took it 5 years after school and did good enough for ivy league requirements, not that I'm in ivy league.</p>

and I write a lot of technical reports</p>
